Ooh, thanks for this! I'm super bummed about the SB database going down; should've downloaded the files while I still could, bah. At least some of these others are backed up!

EDIT: I also know some of the sources and what names they go by now, if that'd be helpful. I know at least one of them doesn't like being attributed to the name they had back then.

I was bummed about it too! Someone asked for it to be removed from the internet archive. I'm glad someone on Reddit grabbed it at least so I converted that to a pdf. I'm still working on converting more of the links I have in my Obsidian into pdfs, bit by bit. I think I still have like 20-ish to go? I particularly really, really want to put all the info from the archived links of the 3 forums around soulbonding into pdfs (I know the living library has 12 whole pages worth on wayback and kurai.com's forum had a section just for soulbonding). I hope all these pdfs are useful for you, I kept them pretty simple, but made sure to add dates and even made linking work *in* the document with anchor points if something was going to a different page in the same website. And also footnotes for links that were external or archiver's notes.

Did I do a decent job with my archival work?

Also, I did *find* the person who ran kurai.com. She's on bluesky & twitch, but she didn't want to talk about soulbonding when I asked (even sent her a ko-fi to hopefully sweeten the deal 😔).

omg the form post collations would be so handy, wading through Wayback Machine links for that is such a bear, to the point I just haven't been able to get through it.

Ooh, I don't blame her at all. Far as I can tell, she wants to move on with her life, and it's been twenty-five years, so it makes sense. At least she hasn't asked Wayback Machine to take the files down. I'd absolutely just let her be.

Thought you would like to know that the first "Discussion Board" from The Living Library has been compiled into a PDF and I updated this post with a few other things as well.
